The Sales Specialist ? Immunohistochemistry for Leica Biosystems is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion. They will also work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.

This position is part of the Sales team and will be fully remote. The territory is: Buffalo, NY, Vermont, NH (except the Seacoast area) and Western Massachusetts. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

The Sales Specialist will achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory. In addition, the associate will maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.

The associate will achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.

Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.

Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies, utilize Strategic Selling tools (Blue sheets) with mentorship and guidance.

Develop on products, DBS, LBS Tools (such as DOMO, Showpad, Territory Business Reviews).

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience

Minimum 3+ years relevant Capital Equipment Sales experience

Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience or selling in a matrixed environment.

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software; Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

+ Ability to travel 50-75%, including some overnights within territory.

Must have a valid driver?s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Prior Immunohistochemistry equipment and reagent sales experience

Selling directly into diagnostic or hospital laboratories

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
