We are seeking a RMS Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Retail systems and data integration. This role will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and governance of data science and engineering practices, with a strong emphasis on complex data modeling, orchestration, and transformation. You will serve as a subject matter expert in data engineering and will play a key role in creating scalable, maintainable, and high-performing data systems that support business-critical applications.

Requirements

• Lead the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of data engineering and analytics procedures, standards, and policies.
• Guide the integration, transformation, and orchestration of complex datasets using appropriate programming and scripting languages.
• Act as a technical authority in data engineering, providing direction on best practices and technology selection.
• Design and develop high-performance solutions around Oracle Retail suite, particularly RMS.
• Maintain and deliver clear documentation of system architecture, data flows, and integration processes.
• Conduct knowledge transfer activities and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data solutions meet operational and strategic goals.
• Support production systems by participating in application maintenance, issue resolution, and performance tuning.

• 5+ years of hands-on techno-functional experience with Oracle Retail applications , specifically Retail Merchandising System (RMS) .
• Strong understanding of Oracle ReSA (Retail Sales Audit) and Retail Price Management (RPM) .
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL , ProC , and UNIX shell scripting .
• Experience with integration bus technologies and enterprise message services .
• Proven background in developing complex applications within the Oracle RMS ecosystem, including production support and system maintenance.
• Familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git or GitLab .
• Experience with job scheduling tools like TES or similar platforms is a plus.
• Background in Agile methodologies , including Scrum and Test-Driven Development (TDD) .
• Exposure to Kafka streaming , Kubernetes , and public cloud platforms (AWS) is a bonus.
• Working knowledge of event-driven design , REST APIs , containerization, and microservices architecture is advantageous.
• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins , Maven , or Gradle .
