About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist based in Sharonville, Ohio, you will provide hands-on respiratory care, patient education, and equipment setup both in the branch and in the field. This role is primarily office-based (95% of the time), with occasional visits to homes, clinics, and hospitals across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana. You will work closely with a collaborative team and support patients using a wide range of respiratory therapies.

Key Highlights

• Work Arrangement: On-site (95% office, limited field visits).
• Hours: 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM ? 5:30 PM; flexible.
• On-Call: Alternating weeks.

Schedule

• Two shift options: 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM ? 5:30 PM.
• Flexible schedule depending on patient needs.
• On-call every other week (primarily phone-based).

Travel Expectations

• Minimal travel required (approx. 5%)
• Coverage area from Kentucky to Indiana
• Maximum travel distance: 2 hours from branch
• Occasional visits to homes, clinics, and hospitals

Salary Range

• $30 - $34/hr.

What You'll Do

• Perform setups in clinics, hospitals, and homes.
• Complete CPAP, BPAP, oxygen, ventilator, and non-invasive ventilation setups.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory equipment.
• Work with the sales team to convert orders into patient therapy needs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active Ohio RT License.
• Must obtain Kentucky & Indiana licenses (Apria helps reimbursing cost).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills, including communication with physicians.
