Why is this Respiratory Therapist role different

This role offers a balanced mix of patient care, field independence, and collaboration with a close-knit, family-like team. You will support patients across a multi-branch region while enjoying strong team support and meaningful patient relationships.

Key highlights

• Work Arrangement: On-site with significant travel.
• Coverage Area: Atlanta ? Athens ? Northern Georgia.
• Hours: 8:30 AM ? 5:00 PM.
• Open to new graduates meeting certification requirements.
• Mileage reimbursement provided.

Salary range

• $26.75 ? $39.28 per hour.

OnCall transparency

• Rotation every 3rd week with phone support, patient assistance, and troubleshooting.
• Travel across multiple coverage zones required.

What you?ll do

• Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow?ups
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
• Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
• Performs other duties as required

What we look for

• Respiratory Therapist with an active GA RT license
• Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 ? 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation

Education

• Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
• Hold a current CPR Certification
• Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
