Registered Nurse

Release Recovery Centers is a leading provider of addiction and mental health services, dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance abuse and mental health issues. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (R.N.) to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our patients while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary staff of thought leaders in the Behavioral Healthcare space.

Job Title: Registered Nurse (R.N.) Part-Time
Location: Purchase, NY
Organization: Release Recovery Centers
Employment Type: Part-Time (16-20 hours/week to start, with potential to grow)
Reports To: Chief Medical Officer

Patient Care & Assessments

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, with a focus on both substance use and mental health needs
• Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and support individualized treatment plans
  

Ongoing Monitoring & Clinical Support

• Monitor client progress and communicate updates to clinical staff
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust interventions as needed
• Ensure medications are administered accurately and in accordance with protocols
  

Documentation & Records

• Maintain detailed, timely, and organized documentation in the electronic medical record system
• Support quality care through accurate charting and compliance
  

Client Education & Advocacy

• Provide clear and supportive education to clients and families about mental health, substance use, and physical well-being
• Foster a safe, nonjudgmental, and empowering atmosphere for healing
  

Team Collaboration

• Partner closely with therapists, case managers, and leadership to deliver wraparound support
• Participate in interdisciplinary discussions and contribute your clinical expertise

Requirements

• A licensed Registered Nurse in the state of New York (active and unrestricted)
• Naturally empathetic, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized, especially when it comes to documentation and medication protocols
• Comfortable working independently but collaborative by nature
• Passionate about helping others
• Experience in addiction or mental health care is a plus, but not required (we'll train you!)
