We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to join the team at Valley View Center for Nursing Care and Rehabilitation. Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Current New York State RN license.
• Certifications:
• Must be Board Certified
• Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and medical record-keeping.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
