Position Overview:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
• Licensure/Certifications:
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• BLS and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications (required).
• Experience: Clinical experience in the specific specialty, e.g., ICU, ER, Med-Surg, preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating medical equipment, administering medications, and performing clinical procedures.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor patient responses.
• Track and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient conditions.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, monitors).
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and healthcare teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and support staff to ensure quality care delivery.
• Respond to emergencies and provide timely interventions.
