We are actively seeking a Registered Dietitian to serve as a Nursing Home Surveyor / Complaint Investigator for a review organization based in New Rochelle, NY . This position plays a crucial role in evaluating long-term care facilities for regulatory compliance, focusing on nutrition, food services, and overall patient well-being.

• Conduct surveys and investigations in nursing homes, including abuse and neglect complaints
• Evaluate dietary compliance with federal and state regulations
• Draft and submit Statements of Deficiencies (SOD) using Principles of Documentation
• Monitor Plans of Correction for effectiveness and regulatory adherence
• Maintain accurate records in federal and state reporting systems
• Participate in Immediate Jeopardy monitoring , administrative hearings, and team meetings
• Comply with DOH work schedules and internal protocols

Benefits

• Education:
• Graduate of a Registered Professional Dietitian program
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare facility (nursing home preferred)
• 2 years of nursing home surveillance experience preferred
• Certification:
• SMQT Certification preferred, or must be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness and ability to travel to facilities as required
