We are seeking a mid-level associate to join our dynamic and collaborative Real Estate Practice Group, focusing on general commercial real estate matters. This position is open to candidates in any of our Atlanta, Cincinnati, Columbus, or Dayton offices. The ideal candidate will possess 4 3 to 6 years of commercial real estate experience, with a focus on: commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, corporate real estate, leasing, and mortgage lending. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior attorneys, supporting a broad range of real estate transactions and client needs.
New York Candidates: The estimated salary range for this position is $230,000 - $255,000.
Chicago Candidates: The estimated salary range for this position is $215,000 - $255,000.
Los Angeles Candidates: As an Associate at Thompson Hine, you will be directly involved and considered to be within the attorney-client relationship, a position that demands the utmost trust and confidence. Your duties involve access to sensitive and confidential information related to our clients? business and legal matters, which requires assurance of your honestly, trustworthiness and reliability. Therefore, all applicants that receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to submit to a background check. Applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. The estimated salary range for this position is $210,000 - $245,000.
Qualifications:
Juris Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in the relevant state, or eligibility for admission.
3-6 3-6 years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, preferably at a law firm or in-house legal department.
Strong Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Experience Experience with a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
Excellent Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong Strong communication and client service skills.
