Ideal candidate will have experience with: Drafting first set of loan documents and negotiating ancillary documents. Reviewing and analyzing title commitments and underlying documents, surveys, opinion letters, leases and zoning reports in order to spot and resolve issues that impact lenders during the diligence phase of transactions. Running weekly status calls, managing and overseeing junior associates and paralegals as well as communicating with clients and opposing counsel in a clear and concise manner. Construction loans (especially in NY), loans intended to be sold in the secondary market or pledged as collateral for a warehouse loan, mezzanine loans, and preferred equity investments a plus.
