Real Estate Attorney

Job Summary: McGinnis Lochridge is seeking a 5?12-year attorney to join our Real Estate Practice Group and play a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our real estate services. This is an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurial attorney with a substantial book of business to collaborate with our existing team to grow the practice group, capitalize on cross-selling opportunities within the firm, and continue to grow and develop a client base. The ideal candidate will have at least $200,000 in portable business. Key Responsibilities: The ideal candidate should have experience in most of the following areas: Representing developers, investors, buyers, and sellers in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing agreements; Providing legal counsel and strategic guidance on real estate financing matters; Advising on the procurement of real estate entitlements, navigating zoning regulations, land use issues, and environmental considerations; Negotiating and drafting real estate agreements, including purchase agreements, leases, easements, and development agreements; and Handling matters related to Homeowner?s Associations, including governance, compliance, and dispute resolution. Location: Our Austin office is conveniently located in Austin?s Market District, sitting at the western gateway to Downtown Austin.
