Quality Engineer

Our client, a leader in the autonomous mobility industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

$70-78/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

Be the main point of contact between Program Management, Design Teams, Test Engineering, Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Risk Management for hardware development and failure analysis.

Perform complex and multi-faceted failure and root cause analysis as part of the Non-Conformance and CAPA process in a high-paced environment.

Participate in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and guide teams to create quality documents including detailed Quality Plans and Process Flow Diagrams.

Develop Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In Process Quality Control (IPQC), and outgoing Quality Control (OQC) requirements and set metrics for analyzing performance.

Support the setup of procedures, instructions, and processes to align with international standards for Quality Systems.

What's Needed?

BS in mechanical or electrical engineering required with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in design or manufacturing quality (MS preferred).

Strong technical and analytical acumen with direct experience in a manufacturing environment.

Thorough knowledge of QMS and quality control fundamentals.

Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment.
