Job Summary:

If you like being at the forefront of change, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Quality Strategy team in Resource Industries Operations & Products Division. This job involves taking strategic quality initiatives and putting them into action across global value chains. You'll be involved in connecting the quality digital thread from customer back to source and visualizing the information to easily gain insights and drive action. We have a fabulous team that does some of the most exciting work at Caterpillar, and we can't wait for you to join the team!

What You Will Do:

Select, organize, and share quality data from multiple sources, databases, and data lakes to drive continuous improvement

Innovate on key process indicators drive desired outcomes

Identify and resolve gaps in data to provide quality digital thread

Develop data models to forecast future results based on current quality activities

Collaborate with facility and enterprise experts to deliver sustainable visualization tools

Be the quality data expert

Education requirement:

Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analyst, Data Engineer curriculum.

Develops expertise in quality assurance tools, techniques, and data

Advises others in analyzing and synthesizing relevant data and assessing alternatives

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

Processes large quantities of detailed information with high levels of accuracy

Implements a variety of cross-checking approaches and mechanisms

Evaluates and makes contributions to best practices

Top Candidates Will Also Have

Proficient skills with or in Snowflake, SQL, PowerBI or equivalent

The location for this position is Decatur, Illinois, East Peoria, Illinois or Mossville, Illinois

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
