Primary Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs focusing on quality assurance practices and patient safety.
• Conduct periodic evaluations of nursing staff to assess competency and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for quality improvements and develop strategies for addressing them.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures that enhance nursing practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the nursing team.
• Prepare educational materials and resources to support learning objectives.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to engage nursing staff actively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to quality assurance.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; Master's Degree or higher in nursing or related field preferred.
• A minimum of three years of nursing experience, with a focus on quality assurance and staff education.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in a quality assurance role preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Proficient in the use of technology and software for training and assessment purposes.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering excellence in nursing practice.
