Primary Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff focusing on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and best nursing practices.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to assess the standards of care provided by nursing staff.
- Identify educational needs through performance assessments and collaborate with nursing leadership to address these needs.
- Provide ongoing training and support to nursing staff to enhance their clinical competencies.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations affecting nursing practice.
- Analyze data related to quality metrics and work with the quality assurance team to develop action plans for improvement.
- Create and maintain educational materials, including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
- Stay current with healthcare regulations, best practices, and industry trends to ensure educational content is relevant and impactful.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active PA license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Master's degree in Nursing or Education is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a quality assurance or educator role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and quality assurance processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and quality improvement methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPR certified.
- Driver's License and Car Insurance in good standing.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.
- Proof of Influenza (Flu) Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious exemption.
