Description: Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Lead, the Quality Assurance Intern will gain hands on experience and understanding of how to deliver well tested and high-quality applications to our clients and provide essential feedback to the engineering team during the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:

Learn and develop test automation using Selenium in C#, following the Page Object Model design pattern

Learning automation analysis to ensure that automation is taking place at the appropriate level of the test pyramid

Web based testing on various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge) and platforms (PCs and mobile devices.)

Support and participate in the QA processes during the Software Development Lifecycle

Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

Current active student status and enrollment towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or active enrollment in a similarly related professional certification or degree program

Familiarity and willingness to learn how to write User Interface tests

Familiarity and willingness to learn Postman or similar API testing tool

Ability to prioritize and complete deliverable items

Familiarity with SQL and relational DBs a plus

Analytical and critical thinking skills

Ability to maintain discretion when handling proprietary and confidential information

Enthusiasm for learning and expanding knowledge or skills

Strong work ethic, integrity, honesty, collaboration and team orientation

Position Pay Rate: The hourly rate for this role is $20.00/hour. Interns will be scheduled for 40-hour work weeks during the Summer Program and are eligible for Holiday Pay and Sick Days.
