QA Manager - Streaming TV

As the QA Manager for Streaming TV, you will lead our quality assurance efforts, overseeing the testing process from planning to execution for all Streaming TV projects. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by managing a talented QA team and implementing best practices in testing and quality assurance. Your role is crucial in establishing a culture of quality across the organization and ensuring that our outputs meet the highest standards before reaching our clients. You will leverage your expertise to define and enhance the QA strategy, drive improvements in testing processes, and mentor the QA team to develop their skills and competencies.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on streaming media or related applications
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring QA teams
• Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, regression, performance, and automation testing
• Ability to develop and implement QA strategies and processes that align with business goals
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with AWS and cloud-based solutions is a plus
• Should have knowledge of mRSS feed and ability to create custom mRSS feeds as per testing requirements
• Knowledge of HLS(Linear Channel, Live Channel and VoD Channel), MPEG and Transportstreams
• Should have basic knowledge of AWS(S3, MediaLive, CF, etc,)
• Strong Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright or Cypress
