Purchasing Manager - Manufacturing/Industrial

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for direct hire opportunities with a global leader in the manufacturing automation / material handling field with a facility in the Columbus, OH area. The position is full-time and direct hire, with salary rates anticipated to range between $80,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience and education (we will consider paying more for the right skills). Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business and 7+ years of Purchase Management Experience, or 10+ years of Purchase Management experience, including project management, negotiation, vendor/supplier evaluation and management, bidding, quoting, and estimating, budget management. Manufacturing, Automotive, and/or Material Handling background is a benefit, but not a requirement.
• Experience with purchase orders, inventory reduction, and cost table development.
• Ability to liaise with all operations levels.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office, Excel, Project, etc., as well as purchasing MRP system experience. Syteline MRP and AutoCAD experience is a benefit, but not a requirement.
• Must be able to work in the United States (no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered).
• Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, references, etc.
