Always Marketing, one of the largest Field Marketing service agencies in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing a full spectrum of Total Field Marketing Solutions that encompass everything from 'Sell In' to 'Sell Out', as well as Activation Strategic Planning and On-The-Ground Execution. Our service offerings include Promoter & Field Marketer Management, In-Store Activation/Promotion, Retail Audit/Mystery Shopper, Event/Road Show, POSM Management, and Premium/Gifting. The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by overseeing the procurement of all necessary materials and services required for our activations and promotions. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services are received.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous conditions.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to maintain supply continuity.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all purchasing needs are met in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the marketing industry.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
