Job Description


Always Marketing, one of the largest Field Marketing service agencies in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing a full spectrum of Total Field Marketing Solutions that encompass everything from 'Sell In' to 'Sell Out', as well as Activation Strategic Planning and On-The-Ground Execution. Our service offerings include Promoter & Field Marketer Management, In-Store Activation/Promotion, Retail Audit/Mystery Shopper, Event/Road Show, POSM Management, and Premium/Gifting. The Purchasing Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly by overseeing the procurement of all necessary materials and services required for our activations and promotions. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about contributing to the success of a leading marketing agency.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services are received.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure advantageous conditions.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary to maintain supply continuity.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all purchasing needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role within the marketing industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
