WORK SCHEDULE: [2-3 days per week] FLSA CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time, Non-Exempt COMPENSATION: The compensation range for this position is $35,000?$55,000, with the opportunity to earn additional income through a variable compensation (commission-based) structure, offering higher earning potential based on performance.

Position Summary Vitae Health?is seeking a qualified Psychotherapist to provide mental health services to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The Psychotherapist will assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral conditions, supporting residents? overall well-being and adjustment to medical and life changes. Key Responsibilities?

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for residents upon admission and as needed?

• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans?

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions?

• Address issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, cognitive decline, and adjustment to illness or disability?

• Support residents coping with chronic illness, pain, loss of independence, and end-of-life concerns?

• Collaborate with?the Vitae clinical team, the patient's attending?physician,?facility?nursing staff, social workers, and rehabilitation teams to coordinate care?

• Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions?

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility, state, and federal regulations?

• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies when needed?

• Educate staff and families on mental health conditions and effective communication strategies?

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards of practice?

Requirements

• Master's?degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field?

• Active and unrestricted license in?respective state?(e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)?

• 2?years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in geriatric, long-term care, or medical settings?

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills?

• Knowledge of mental health conditions common in SNF populations (e.g., depression, anxiety, dementia, adjustment disorders)?

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, trauma-informed care, grief counseling)?

• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team?

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff?

• Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills?

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred?
