Description
As the Production Trainer - Demo Area Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the equipment at the Edward J. Rapp Customer & Training Center in Clayton, NC.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining, monitoring, shipping and cleaning machines when required.
Supporting customer and dealer events as needed
Set-up and tear down of equipment (tables, chairs, etc)
Supporting factory tours
Providing welcome and safety presentations
Operating equipment in machine demos
Transporting groups between facilities
Basic Qualifications
Two years of Product Assembler or Team Lead experience
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
Top Candidates will also have
Ability to communicate assembly processes effectively
Previous experience operating equipment
Technician experience on equipment
Demo team experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly
Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly while on the shop floor
Ability to climb up and down stairs, platforms, and ladders on an occasional basis
Ability to sit, kneel, squat, or twist regularly
Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete / dirt floors throughout the shift
Ability to be outside in the elements for long period of time

Shift: 1st Shift
Hours: M-Th 6 a.m. ? 4:30 p.m., Overtime scheduled as business needs require.
Work location: Clayton, NC and Sanford, NC

Summary Pay Range:
$25.96 - $32.45
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
