Production Planner

JOB SUMMARY

Prince Industries, located in Tampa, has an exciting opportunity for a Production Planner to work with an industry leader! This position reports to the General Manager.

The Production Planner coordinates the production activities to meet the customers' requirements. Plans all manufacturing operations for efficient and economical production.

Hours for this role are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:30pm .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing the Master Production Schedule
• Creating production schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and analyzing production data to find ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize costs
• Coordinating with Customer Service to plan new jobs to meet customer requirements
• Scheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process to increase efficiency, minimize waste, and optimize resources
• Ensuring the accuracy of the production process (E2)
• Coordinating production workflow for jobs and scheduling shifts according to production needs
• Reviewing the daily schedule with Operations and update based on available resources
• Having expertise in planning, organizing, and evaluating production schedules, raw materials, and labor requirements.
• Overseeing the workflow of the production within the facility by regularly walking the shop floor to monitor progress
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES

• Excellent communication skills required effectively communicate in both oral and written form and interact with all levels of the company.
• Excellent computer skills to effectively generate reports and input required data.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills are required to prioritize urgent matters and perform multiple tasks concurrently to complete work assignments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Must possess a bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in related manufacturing work environment required.
• Certification, formal training, or continued education desired.

Compensation:

Pay: $65,000 - $75,000 Annually

Additional performance incentives based on hiring goals also a part of the compensation plan
