Role Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for managing the technical aspects of all church events, including Sunday services, worship nights, and other special gatherings. This position ensures that all audio, video, and lighting (AVL) needs are met while maintaining high-quality production standards. The Production Manager will drive production trucks to and from venues, coordinate production load-ins and loadouts, and provide hands-on support for various technical functions. This role also involves managing equipment inventory, maintenance, and rental processes while collaborating with the Events Director and Media Coordinator to ensure smooth and seamless production execution.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for driving production trucks to and from all venues for Sunday services and other all church events (e.g. worship nights, all-serve team nights, etc.)
Oversee and schedule production load-in and load-out teams for Sunday services, worship nights, all church events, etc.
Assist in all aspects of Sunday production (audio, video, lighting)
Familiar with audio systems and can fill in if needed at FOH
Competent with video systems (Live directing, camera operations, Resi, etc.) and can fill in if needed in any of these positions.
Responsible for payment for all necessary vehicle and equipment rental
Manage an active inventory of production equipment
Manage equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacement schedules
Ensure a clean and professional production environment in all venues
Coordinating alongside Events Director to ensure venue logistics (timings, power, etc.) are adequately set up
Establish and maintain standardized procedures and checklists that ensure consistency and high-quality results for load-in and load-out
Schedule all audio, video, and lighting teams for Sunday gatherings and all church events that require AVL
Work in tandem with the Media Coordinator to make sure all audio and visual deliverables are completed in a timely and professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Competencies/Skills
Experience with production in a church context
Experienced in running FOH
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
