Job Description:
We're looking for a Production Associate to join our team! In this role, you will assist with preparing door skins for production. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to learn about different wood species, and a focus on quality. You'll be responsible for flipping, sorting, and inspecting materials to ensure everything is ready for production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Flip and prepare door skins for the production process.
- Learn and understand different wood species and their characteristics.
- Sort and match door skins and materials according to production needs.
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet goals and deadlines.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in production or general labor is helpful but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Ability to learn quickly and work with different types of wood materials.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work independently when necessary.
- Materials experience is a PLUS
