Job Summary:

Reporting to the Sr. Producer, you as a Producer are responsible for managing all aspects of video production assigned, including concept development, pre-production, production, and post-production. Your expertise and skill set will span across all Impact Theory channels existing, as well as any future channels created for our brand. You will also lead booking talent for our episodes.

Please note this role is on-site at our West Hollywood, California office.

Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute video content that aligns with the channel's brand and audience, closely partnering to develop the vision of the host.
  • You will be responsible to book guests on the show and develop/maintain relationships with industry representatives (PR, Publishers, Agents, Managers, etc.)
  • Manage pre-production activities, including content ideation, pitching guests, researching, and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure videos are delivered on time and in line with Production SOPs and budgets.
  • Greet and engage with guests upon arrival on set
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the channel's performance, audience engagement, budget, and revenue potential.
  • Partner with YouTube Strategist and be obsessed with the data. You'll define hypotheses and constantly test your theories.
  • Work with the creative team to develop and execute on new innovative concepts for YouTube videos.
  • Stay in touch with trends, emerging competitors, and hot topics to keep our brand on the forefront.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective distribution strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager and Production Coordinator on the release schedule for all assets assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Producer specifically across YouTube, Podcast, and the Creative landscape
  • Experience with data and analytics specifically in Social Media, YouTube, Podcast environments
  • Must have prior experience booking influencers, thought leaders, VIPs, etc. and maintaining strong relationships with PR, Managers, Publishers, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Google GSuite, Slack, etc.
  • Proficient with frame.io, Rev, Concur software
  • Understanding of best editing practices, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs when assisting on set.
  • Ability to come to set for in-person shoots.
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
  • Flexibility to work long hours when on set or location as needed.
