Job Description
The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding academic credentials, experience managing large projects, and the ability to interface with clients and their outside advisors. The candidate should also possess a solid grasp of estate, gift, and GST tax planning strategies, with at least two years of independent drafting experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience advising on multi-generational wealth planning, including the preparation of complex estate and tax plans for high-net-worth individuals and families. Expertise in structuring family offices, advising on tax optimization strategies, and developing strategic wealth transfer techniques, such as dynasty trusts, discount planning, sales to defective grantor trusts, and specialized charitable trusts will be highly valued. The successful candidate will also have familiarity with administering and restructuring trusts, including advising on fiduciary duties, trust modifications, decantings, and the post-death administration of complex multi-generational trusts. Experience with the preservation and transfer of specialized assets such as fine art, intellectual property, and closely held business and private equity interests is a plus.

The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
