The Amazon Device Solutions (ADS) team empowers businesses with connected devices and services that amplify their operations and customer engagement. We create scalable B2B opportunities by leveraging Amazon's investments in devices, technologies, and infrastructure.

Operating like a startup within Amazon, we've launched innovative products such as the Amazon Workspace Thin Client and Amazon Signage Stick. We're actively expanding into the digital signage market, targeting from retrial to education.

Our team thrives on rapid innovation, collaborative problem-solving, and iterative product development. We work closely with teams across Amazon, including AWS, Advertising, and Retail, to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key job responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of complex business strategies to expand ADS's footprint in the B2B space, focusing on digital signage and smart office solutions

Identify, evaluate, and manage large complex opportunities with direct customers, channel partners, and industry partners

Build and maintain strategic relationships with key external partners, including software vendors, AV integrators, and business customers

Collaborate with internal stakeholders across (e.g., AWS, Advertising, Retail) to align business development initiatives with overall company goals

Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models to support new ventures and partnerships

Negotiate high-value, strategic deals and partnerships with business customers and technology partners

Work closely with product and engineering teams to bring the voice of the customer into our product development process

Drive go-to-market strategies for new ADS offerings, including the Amazon Signage Stick and associated software services

Present business reviews and strategic recommendations to senior management

A day in the life

Your day might start with a morning strategy session, refining go-to-market plans for our latest digital signage solution. By midday, you could be deep in negotiations with a potential partner or customer, balancing their needs with ADS's strategic goals. The afternoon might see you collaborating with engineering on product roadmaps, ensuring our innovations align with market demands. You'll likely end your day mentoring team members and preparing for tomorrow's executive presentation on a new vertical opportunity with Amazon's B2B facing business partners. Throughout, you'll leverage data insights, navigate cross-functional relationships, and balance long-term vision with immediate execution needs.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field

7+ years of experience developing, negotiating, and executing strategic business agreements

10+ years of experience in technology business development, product management, or related roles in the B2B space

Proven track record of successfully driving complex, high-impact business initiatives in enterprise technology

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external executives

Ability to understand and communicate technical requirements of customers

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

MBA or advanced degree in a related field

Experience in digital signage, IoT, or other relevant B2B technology sectors

Knowledge of Amazon's technology

Excellent network within the tech industry and enterprise customer base

Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python)

Entrepreneurial mentality with a track record of launching and scaling new technology products, services, or businesses

Multi-lingual fluency

Experience thinking and working creatively to develop unique joint value propositions and product strategy within a partner ecosystem

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
