Pre-Litigation Assistant Director/ Attorney JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to serve as the Pre-Litigation Assistant Director within our Personal Injury team. This role is ideal for a self-starting attorney passionate about advocating for injured clients in the pre-litigation stage. The Assistant Director will support the strategic management of the Pre-Litigation team, working closely with the Pre-Litigation Director and Practice Group Administrator to ensure high-quality, client-focused outcomes. Fluency in Spanish is required, as this role involves regular communication with Spanish-speaking clients. This position is primarily based in-person at our San Diego office; however, a flexible hybrid arrangement may be considered. SALARY AND BENEFITS: $125,000-$200,000 annually Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a full caseload of pre-litigation personal injury matters with the supervision and support of the Pre-Litigation Director and Pre-Litigation Practice Group Administrator. Make strategic decisions regarding case outcomes, including settlement discussions, medical treatment options, and litigation readiness, in consultation with clients and leadership with support of the Pre-Litigation Director and Pre-Litigation Practice Group Administrator Draft demand letters and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters Communicate effectively with clients, internal team members, and external parties to ensure timely and successful resolution of cases. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal and ethical standards, while maintaining case files in case management software (e.g., Filevine, SmartAdvocate, Clio, or similar). Support overflow tasks and contribute to special projects to ensure the success of the practice group. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support departmental and firm-wide goals QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS: Fluency in Spanish is required. Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school Active license to practice law in California. 5+ years of experience in litigation. Experience managing a high-volume pre-litigation caseload. Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office products. Detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.
