PLSQL Developer

ProArch is looking for a talented PLSQL Developers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing database solutions, writing efficient Advanced PLSQL code, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure optimal functionality and performance of our applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle databases, PLSQL programming and Data Migration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain Advanced PLSQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business applications.
• Design and implement database structures/Data Migration that support business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis and optimization to enhance query performance and system efficiency.
• Conduct troubleshooting and debugging of PLSQL code and database issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation related to database design, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated with Oracle database upgrades and new features.
• Experienced in the Development and support of Java Web Applications and services as specified by our business partners
• Exposure to powerhouse or any other 4GL language, core Java is an added advantage
• Be the go-to expert for Oracle and PL/SQL
• Participate in coding and enhancements
• Tune, script, and extract, transform, and load
• Support daily business operations related systems
• Run systems manually (test files, re-runs, ) for exception cases
• Development and support Applications and services as specified by our business partners
• Use research, proof of concept, spike testing, to drive technology roadmap and make technology recommendations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Advanced PLSQL development and Data Migration.
• Proficient in writing complex queries, procedures, and functions using PLSQL.
• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
• Experience with database tools and utilities (e.g., SQL Developer, Toad).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
