Job Description
ProArch is seeking a skilled PLSQL Developer to strengthen our innovative team. This role involves crafting scalable database solutions through advanced PLSQL programming, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency of our applications. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Oracle databases, possess strong analytical skills, and contribute to both coding and system enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Advanced PLSQL stored procedures and functions.
- Implement database structures tailored to business requirements and data migration tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Optimize SQL queries to enhance application performance and system reliability.
- Engage in debugging and troubleshooting of database systems.
- Take part in code reviews to uphold quality standards and best practices.
- Document database designs, processes, and modifications effectively.
- Stay informed on Oracle database features and updates to improve functionalities.
- Support Java applications and web services as needed.
- Use scripting for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Advanced PLSQL development and Oracle database management.
- Expertise in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Strong grasp of data modeling concepts and ETL processes.
- Proficiency with SQL development tools (SQL Developer, Toad, etc.).
- Analytical mindset with a keen problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
