Pick Pack Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for coordinating the shipping, receiving, and storing of?any and all?materials necessary to meet the production requirements of our Company?s sales demand.??Additional?duties will be to handle all shipping?required?to support all other departments in the attainment of their own functional goals.

• Reads work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to?determine?items to be moved,?gathered,?distributed?and/or shipped.?

• Ensures?work?area is clean, orderly, accessible and safe?at all times.?

• Assembles customer orders from stock and?prepares?items for mailing.?

• Marks materials shipped and received with the?appropriate identifying?information according to Standard Operating Procedures.?

• Records?amount?of materials or items received or distributed for Inventory Control.?

• Maintains all shipping/receiving paperwork.?

• Assists?in?counting?physical inventory as needed.?

• Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job?scope.?

• Contributes to and supports the corporation?s quality initiatives by encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporation?s quality improvement efforts.?

• Performs?other?duties and responsibilities as assigned.?

Requirements MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS?

• High School diploma?(or equivalent)?

• 1?year?experience working in a warehouse?or in an office capacity preferred?

• Ability to key in data, type and?operate?a computer keyboard?

• Basic math skills?to?have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide?

• Good reading?comprehension skills?to?interpret documents such as safety rules,?operating?and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals?

• Ability to effectively communicate in English via speaking, writing, and reading?

• Must be willing to work overtime or on weekends, as the workload demands?

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, balance,?reach?and twist?

• Required to conduct repetitive hand movements?

• Work occasionally near mechanical parts and in high places?

• Exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer?

• Duties are performed in a smoke-free warehouse environment?
