We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive rehabilitation team in Lanham, MD. This per-diem position offers an excellent opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence-based care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist Physical Therapists in delivering individualized treatment plans
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and functional tasks
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Document treatments and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on at-home exercise programs and self-care strategies

Requirements

• Education: Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Licensure: Active PTA license in Maryland; BLS certification required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities and exercise programs
• Competency in electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work well in a team environment
