We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dedicated rehabilitation team in Lanham, MD . In this per-diem role, you will support patient recovery through therapeutic activities under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Assist Physical Therapists with implementing treatment plans
• Lead patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility drills
• Track patient progress and communicate findings with supervising PTs
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with rehab protocols
• Educate patients and caregivers on post-treatment care

Requirements

• Education : Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
• Licensure : Active Maryland PTA license and BLS certification (required)
• Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting
• Skills :
• Proficient in therapeutic modalities and patient care techniques
• EMR documentation
• Attributes : Empathetic, communicative, and team-oriented
