We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Pharmacist to join a state-operated hospital team in Indiana. In this role, you'll ensure optimal pharmaceutical care, supervise pharmacy operations, and contribute to regulatory compliance and patient safety. You will also have the opportunity to act as Chief Pharmacist when needed, making this a great position for those with strong leadership potential.

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions in compliance with regulatory standards
• Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee medication storage
• Conduct audits and ensure adherence to legal and institutional policies
• Manage controlled substance documentation and reporting
• Review unit dosages and update pharmacy procedural manuals
• Act as Chief Pharmacist in their absence, ensuring smooth operations
• Foster collaboration with healthcare providers to support patient care

Requirements

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
• Licensure: Active Indiana Pharmacist license (required)
• Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Technical Skills:
• Medication compounding and dispensing
• Inventory management and pharmaceutical audits
• Controlled substance regulation and documentation
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
