Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking aPediatricianto fill an opening with a Family Health Center located in Jamaica, New York.

Responsibilities of thePediatrician:

• Diagnose and treat illnesses, medical conditions, and injuries.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Collect, record, and maintain patients' information and histories.
• Prescribe and administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients and family members.
• Monitor patients' conditions and progress.
• Direct, coordinate, consult with, and refer patients to nurses, students, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
• Advise patients, parents, and guardians on diets, activities, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Conduct research and remain up to date on current trends, discoveries, and developments in the field

Requirements

• Must have an active NY State License
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Must have an active Medicaid number
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred

• The salary for this position is$200,000 - $215,000 / yr
