Express Yourself Speech and Language Therapy LLC is a private practice dedicated to enhancing the communication and functional skills of children. We are currently seeking a passionate and patient Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Superstar team. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with children to improve their daily living skills and support their development in a nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify each child's specific needs
Develop individualized treatment plans that meet the needs for each client
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities
Monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to provide strategies for support at home
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with best practices in pediatric occupational therapy

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current and valid state license from the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and their families
