We are currently looking for a dedicated Payroll Associate to manage the payroll process and provide support to our employees at LaborWorx. In this role, you will ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, maintain payroll records, and address any payroll related inquiries. You will work closely with HR and accounting to ensure that all payroll functions are executed in compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking time sheets for accuracy
• Entering data into payroll database for processing
• Handling direct deposit requests and data
• Processing paper checks for distribution
• Acquiring all necessary signatures to distribute payroll
• Processing wage garnishments
• Making adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses and commission
• Prepare reports for upper management, finance department etc.
• Process payroll for +/- 400 employees
• Coordinating with HR about changes in payroll (e.g. terminations, new hires)
• Work with Exec VP to ensure payroll taxes are filled appropriately
• Work with Exec VP for Worker's Compensation reporting in multiple states
• Prepare reports on project specifications, activities, or status

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in independent payroll processing
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficient in payroll software systems, preferably with experience in Foundation
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits

The annual base compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $80,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications.
