The position requires a minimum of two years of experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications related to artificial intelligence and machine learning, computer software, financial technology, blockchain, and cryptocurrency. An undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science is preferred and all experience levels will be considered. Admission to a state bar and USPTO registration is required. Successful candidates have strong academic credentials and excellent research, writing, analytical, and communication skills, as well as a desire to work in a collegial atmosphere with an emphasis on training, significant client contact, and a wide range of work, including patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, and opinion work. With one of the country?s fastest-growing IP practices, Dinsmore services clients in a wide range of industries around the world. The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $195,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
