The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with over 3 years of experience in Insurance Defense, specializing in bodily injury and premise liability cases. If you are a motivated paralegal ready to take on new challenges and contribute to a dynamic legal team, we want to hear from you! Qualifications: Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, specializing in bodily injury, premise liability and/or general liability Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist Attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management for bodily injury and premises liability claims Draft and manage subpoenas and other legal documents Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all information is up to date and easily accessible Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses and other parties involved in our cases Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe & Excel Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to management multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively Proficient in legal research and writing Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment The KD difference: ?
