Job Description

Impact: As our Paralegal in our Employment Single Action department, you will have the opportunity to help progress our clients? cases involving Discrimination, Wrongful Termination, Retaliation, Harassment, etc. through litigation. Daily Tasks: Propound and respond to discovery. Prepare substantive responses for Plaintiff and review Defendant?s responses. Prepare documents for filing with the state and federal court. Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts, and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner. Ownership of calendaring and scheduling deadlines. Assist with pre-trial preparation, including drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits. Your Skills: 2 years of Paralegal experience in Employment litigation for Single Plaintiff. Working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure. Familiarity with DFEH and EEOC claims process. Experience drafting Meet and Confer responses. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Type at least 40 WPM. Some experience in Federal procedure is a plus.
