The Secheron Hasler Group is seeking an experienced Oracle e-business suite DBAand Developer with a solid experience working as an Oracle DBA and a proven background as a developer of web-applications with Oracle DB.

Main responsibilities

As a DBA:

• Manage and maintain e-business suite environment
• Monitor and optimize e-business suite DB
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery
• Apply patching, critical security updates, cloning

As a Developer:

• Analyze business requirements in collaboration with process owners.
• Specify, design, develop and maintain web-applications using PHP or related technologies.
• Integrate the web-applications with Oracle DB and third party systems.
• Ensure security applying best practices in application development.
• Document specification and application features.

Requirements

Qualification and requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA with exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite (12.2 or later)
• 3+ years of experience in PHP development
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in written and oral English

Oracle DBA skills:

• Oracle security, patch management, and access control.
• Database performance tuning tools: AWR, ADDM, and SQL Tuning Advisor.
• Troubleshooting and resolving both database and application issues effectively.
• Unix/Linux environments, including scripting (Shell, Bash).
• Use RMAN for efficient backup and recovery of Oracle databases.

PHP Development Skills:

• Strong experience with PHP development with good understanding of frameworks (e.g. Laravel).
• Hands-on experience integrating Oracle Databases with PHP applications.
• Ability to optimize backend performance, database queries, and application responsiveness.
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages like Python or Shell.
• Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
