About the role: We are seeking to recruit an experienced individual to join the Operations team based in New York. The role will report to the Head of Operations in London and work closely with the Treasury team, supporting daily processes and queries. The successful candidate will also work with the Portfolio Management team and other stakeholders to help manage the full trade lifecycle. The role offers broad exposure across the Middle Office function at Caxton.

• Provide supervisory oversight of US-based Operations and Middle Office functions, partnering with teams in New York and London, reporting to the Head of Operations in London.
• Lead and co-ordinate the systematic end-of-day processes and controls.

• Support all functions of the trade and position lifecycle including but not limited to execution, confirmation, settlement, Pricing, Financing, Collateral.
• Ensure accurate and timely execution of key control processes such as trade confirmation, prime broker/administrator reconciliation, and break resolution.
• Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and implement new ones with the goal of enhancing current operating model.
• Monitor daily wire transfers and margin movements, ensuring end-of-day funding requirements are met and transactions are released.
• Serve as a key point of contact for U.S. prime brokers and counterparties, supporting relationship management and day-to-day treasury operations.

• Minimum 5 years of middle office operational experience, preferably with a macro hedge fund or asset management firm.
• Strong knowledge of Futures, FX, Equities, Fixed Income and Derivative products.

• Familiarity with trade matching middleware platforms such as CTM, MarkitServ, Traiana, TDN and TRAX, together with experience using Prime Broker portals and Orchestrade.
• Corporate Actions, Futures Delivery, Prime Brokerage Financing.?
• Proactive with a keen eye for detail, a curious mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status-quo.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions across Operations and Middle Office functions, improving workflow efficiency, risk oversight, reconciliation processes, and management reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Management and mentoring experience, or the appetite to grow into a supervisory role.
• Displays and operates at the highest degree of ethics and integrity.

Benefits The base pay range for this range is between: $120,000 - $160,000, annually. Actual base pay will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, seniority, business needs, and market demands. In addition to base pay, successful candidates will be entitled to discretionary bonus.
