Job Summary:

As the Off Highway Truck Integration Engineer you will develop concepts, architects and integrates new products, components, or technologies.

What you will do:

Researching and developing design parameters, performance characteristics, and technical specifications of new products and components.

Guiding the evolution of the technical design, technical project planning, performance analysis, and development testing. Participating in supplier selection and capabilities assessment.

Monitoring, exploring, and testing new technologies, materials, and components to understand product or process improvement opportunities.

Constructing and fabricating prototype equipment; overseeing materials selection, process optimization and process yield, as well as reliability testing and failure analysis.

Degree Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum.

Top Candidates Will Have:

Experience with top-level machine configuration and motion

Design experience in one or more L5 machine systems

Familiarity with steering and/or suspension systems

Familiarity with vehicle dynamics

Familiarity with Off-Highway or Large Mining Trucks

Familiarity with Teamcenter, Creo and Visview

Makes oral presentations and writes reports needed for own work.

Avoids technical jargon when inappropriate.

Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups.

Systems Thinking:

Monitors systems after interventions to confirm success and to diagnose new or remaining problems.

Analyzes the dynamics of a system to determine key characteristics, properties, and functions.

Attributes systemic problems correctly to interpersonal dynamics when appropriate.

Escalates systemic problems that impede group performance.

Surfaces problems within systems and searches for root causes.

Summary Pay Range:

$110,520.00 - $165,840.00
