Express Employment is looking for a dedicated Off Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join a great team here in Toledo. This position requires flexibility and the ability to work non-standard hours to ensure that all industrial equipment operates at peak performance. The Off Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician will provide essential maintenance and repair services to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks on production equipment during off shifts
- Diagnose issues and troubleshoot equipment problems to ensure timely resolution
- Conduct inspections on equipment to identify and resolve potential issues
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance and repair activities for equipment
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff and production teams to address and resolve equipment issues
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, particularly on off shifts
- Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd Shift with Training on 1st Shift
- Proficient in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and blueprints
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards and best practices
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
