Job Description


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiovascular team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular medicine and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and physical examinations.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and lab work.

Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Manage and monitor patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions, including heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmias.

Educate patients and families on preventative care, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.

Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounds, and educational activities.

Stay current with advancements in cardiovascular medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Nursing (for NP) or a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.

Current NP or PA license in [Insert State].

Certification in Cardiovascular Medicine preferred.

Strong assessment, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
