Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly experienced MuleSoft Integration and Platform Lead with at least 10 years of experience to design and implement complex, high-performance integration solutions for our enterprise systems using MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting end-to-end integration solutions, leading design and implementation efforts, and ensuring seamless communication between various applications, services, and systems across the organization. This role requires deep expertise in MuleSoft integration technologies, API-led connectivity, cloud integration, and enterprise application integration (EAI).

This individual will play a critical role in architecting and leading integration projects for complex enterprise environments, leveraging MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.

Integration Strategy: Define and establish integration strategies, integration patterns, and best practices for a variety of business processes and systems across the enterprise.

API-Led Connectivity: Design and manage API-led connectivity architecture to provide reusable, flexible, and scalable integration patterns that connect business applications and services.

System Integration: Work with internal and external teams to integrate legacy systems, cloud services, third-party applications, and databases with MuleSoft.

Performance Tuning & Optimization: Ensure the platform's performance meets operational requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with security, data privacy regulations, and integration best practices. Implement security policies, including OAuth, API security, and encryption.

Platform Leadership: Lead the MuleSoft platform implementation, including setup, configuration, and customization of MuleSoft components.

Platform Implementation: Guide the deployment of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform components (Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, and Anypoint Monitoring) and ensure they are used effectively to meet business requirements.

Leadership & Mentorship: Lead integration projects from an architecture perspective, mentor junior architects and developers, and provide technical guidance to ensure best practices and quality standards are met.

Cloud & Hybrid Integration: Architect integration solutions that bridge on-premises and cloud applications, leveraging hybrid cloud technologies and integration platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

API Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire API lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, versioning, monitoring, and security management, using tools such as Anypoint API Manager.

Security & Compliance: Ensure integration solutions comply with security policies, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and industry standards. Implement OAuth, JWT, and other security protocols for secure API communication.

Performance Optimization: Continuously assess the performance of integration solutions, provide recommendations for improvements, and troubleshoot any performance-related issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: At least 10 years of experience in enterprise integration, with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (including Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, and Anypoint Monitoring).

Integration Expertise: Deep knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., point-to-point, publish-subscribe, API-led), enterprise application integration (EAI), and middleware technologies.

MuleSoft Proficiency: Extensive experience in architecting and developing integration solutions using MuleSoft technologies (Mule ESB, Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, Anypoint Exchange).

Technical Skills: Strong programming skills in Java, Groovy, and MuleSoft connectors. Experience with RESTful services, SOAP, and web services security standards (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).

API Design & Management: Expertise in API design and management, including RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML, along with experience in managing the API lifecycle using MuleSoft Anypoint API Manager.

Cloud Integration: Experience in integrating cloud applications and services with on-premises systems, and a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Security & Compliance: Strong experience in implementing security policies for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and encryption (OAuth2, JWT, SAML).

Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor teams, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect or MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD) is strongly preferred.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Ability to analyze complex issues and provide efficient solutions for integration problems.

Preferred Skills:

Microservices & Containers: Experience with microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration of microservices for integration.

DevOps & CI/CD: Experience in DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git Action and

Maven.).

Containerization: Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for microservices orchestration.

Agile Methodology: Experience in Agile project management frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
