Requirements

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

As a FPSL Functional Consultant, you will be a team member in our cross-functional Services team in Bangalore.

Expectations:

• CA/Engineering graduate/MBA from a reputed university with minimum of five (5) years of Development experience, out of which minimum 2 end to end FPSL implementation.
• Good experience and understanding of Banking/Insurance Business Processes
• Knowledge in financial accounting and bookkeeping.
• Finance expertise in understanding the Balance sheet and PnL statements.
• Deep knowledge in accounting principle IFRS9/IFRS17 as business analyst.
• Customer facing experience is mandatory including good presentation skills.
• Proven success in contributing within a team environment.
• Willing to learn new skills and grow towards the organization's vison.
• Experience in working in a distributed project setup across geographical locations.
• Advice for optimization and continuous improvement, transformation, and innovation
• Must be able to work as a team player.

Tasks:

• Profound knowledge and know-how with all the three measurement types (GMM, PAA and VFA), including all related FPSL processes.
• Proficiency with measurement approach for IFRS9 [ ACO, FVTPL, FVOCI]
• Computation of EIR, ECL, Amortization process.
• Understanding of calculation methods in various FPSL processes.
• Understanding of FPSL data model and its requirements.
• Experience in the FPSL end to end configuration.
• Basic understanding of integrations into FPSL[BW/HANA] and to the FI-GL.
• Consulting knowledge and experience in evaluating customer requirements and propose solution.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, CA or comparable qualification
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

WORK EXPERIENCE

Engineering graduate/MBA/CA from a reputed university with 7 to 12 years professional experience
