Job Description


Since 1905, The Bradley Center has continually served children and families in need. Today, the residential treatment facility provides 24 hour care and trauma-informed treatment to children who have a history of trauma and who may present with a wide range of challenges. Therapists at Bradley receive training in evidence-based interventions, carry a small caseload, develop treatment plans with the clients and families, and participate in both team and individual supervision. This is an excellent opportunity for a new therapist to gain valuable experience and launch a career. We also offer the opportunity to receive the supervision necessary for licensure.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and family therapy
  • Provide treatment education and guidance including the development of individualized treatment plans
  • Adhere to treatment plan objectives
  • Attend monthly treatment planning meetings
  • Communicate with family and external partners
  • Documentation/behavioral data tracking
Qualifications best suited for the position:
  • Initiative
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Patience and creativity while working with residents at their own pace
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional demeanor, sound judgment, dependability, and a strong work ethic
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, art or music therapy or other related field required
  • Minimum of one year experience working with youth is a human services or psychiatric setting preferred
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
