Medical Scribe

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our dental practice. The Dental Scribe will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real-time. This position requires strong knowledge of dental terminology, as well as the ability to transcribe information efficiently. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be committed to maintaining high standards of medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately transcribe patient encounters and dictated by healthcare providers.
• Document examination findings, treatment plans, and other relevant information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date medical records for patients.
• Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with the staff to facilitate optimal patient care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of dental terminology.
• Previous experience in a medical/dental office.
• Proficient typing skills with the ability to transcribe quickly and accurately.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a dynamic setting.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
