Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Our client in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking Material Handlers to join their team. The ideal candidate will have Material Handler experience and the following skills: teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, computer skills and active listening skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Shrewsbury, MA

Schedule:

2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, from 3pm to 11:30pm

Pay rate:

$19 an hour

This is a Temporary to Permanent Employment opportunity!

What's the Job?

Manually or by fork truck move materials, supplies, and finished goods to designated places in the facility or onto trucks.

Load, unload and move materials at plant, yard, or other work site.

Responsible for accurate cycle count.

Load raw materials or finished products on skids or hand trucks.

Stack skids or pallets in designated areas. Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing and cardboard and build wooden crates for shipping products.

What's Needed?

Material Handler experience is required.

Computer skills is required, because the position involves processing orders, inventory control and processing incoming and outgoing shipments.

Requires ability to select, count receive, issue and package materials, parts and products and move them to designated areas, ensuring document and shipment accuracy.

Requires ability to operate a forklift truck and pass written and practical certification exam.
